UToledo's Speech-Language Pathology program has options for part-time enrollment, online continuing-education courses and intensive, specialty clinical training in the summer. Our graduate students are prepared to work as school Speech-Language Pathologists.
On-campus clinics.
Graduate students get hands-on training and provide speech therapy services to local children in UToledo's Speech-Language Hearing Clinic. Students are supervised by certified, licensed clinicians.

National accreditation.
The Master of Arts (M.A.) education program in Speech-Language Pathology (residential) at The University of Toledo is accredited (March 1, 2022-February 28, 2030) by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), 2200 Research Boulevard #310, Rockville, Maryland 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296-5700, and provides the educational and clinical experiences required for certification and/or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
