Overview

The Master of Science in Hydrology delves into the movement, distribution and quality of water on our planet - and possibly other planets. You'll develop high-level competence in areas such as hydrogeochemistry, vadose zone hydrology, statistical hydrology, hydrologic modeling, hydrogeology, hydrometeorology, hydroclimatology, environmental hydrology, groundwater hydrology, surface-water hydrology, and water resources policy. Our program is unique as the only school with a dedicated department for hydrology and water resources. The department is one of the few with both hydrology and atmospheric sciences. Study the entire integrated water cycle with clear implications for water resources planning, climate resiliency, and water equity and security.
