Program Description
The Agricultural Education: Professional Agriculture Emphasis master's degree program is designed for working professionals in agriculture, life sciences and related fields who would like to obtain a graduate degree that includes the development of entrepreneurial leadership skills. The degree can be tailored to meet your needs and can be obtained online or in person at the University of Arizona's main campus in Tucson or at the regional campus in Yuma. This program requires a qualifying exam with an oral defense. Graduates find higher-paying and senior positions in higher education, government agencies and the agricultural extension sector.

Students must meet the Arizona History and Constitution requirement for eligibility for institutional recommendation to the Arizona Department of Education for teacher certification.
Student teaching is a required component of this degree program.
A cumulative project is a requirement for this degree program.
